Who we are.
The responsible party within the meaning of data protection laws, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is:
General.
Data collection and scope of use
We collect and use personal data only if and insofar as this is necessary to provide or use the respective service or function. The term "personal data" refers to all individual information about a specific or identifiable natural person, such as contact details or the content of entries into (contact) forms.
Your data is collected, on the one hand, because you provide it to us. This may include data you enter into a contact form, for example. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system, or time the page was accessed).
Purposes and legal bases for data processing
Some personal data is collected in order to ensure that the website functions without errors. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour.
We only collect and process personal data if:
- you have given your explicit consent,
- the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you,
- the processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, or
- the processing is necessary to protect legitimate interests and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in your data not being processed.
Insofar as we collect, process or use personal data, we comply with the applicable legal provisions, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG). We only process your personal data for the purposes stated in this privacy policy. In particular, the data you provide us will not be used for advertising purposes.
Disclosure of personal data
We pass on personal data collected via our website to government institutions, authorities and courts insofar as we are obliged to do so or insofar as this is necessary for legal defence or the assertion of rights. Unless expressly stated in this privacy notice, we do not transfer personal data to countries outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA). Insofar as we transfer personal data (or data that can be related to individuals, such as IP addresses) to third countries in accordance with this privacy notice, we hereby inform you that the level of data protection there may differ from that of the EU. By using our website, you consent to the transfer to such a country.
Your personal data will not be transmitted to third parties for purposes other than those mentioned. For the operation of the website we may use technical service providers within the framework of data processing on our behalf. Where personal data is transferred to these service providers, this takes place within the framework of commissioned processing of personal data in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
Storage duration and deletion of personal data
We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data minimisation. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or for as long as the various retention periods provided for by the legislator. Once the respective purpose no longer applies or these periods expire, the corresponding data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with statutory provisions.

(9) Google reCAPTCHA

reCAPTCHA is used to check whether data entry on our websites (e.g. in a contact form) is carried out by a human or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, length of time the website visitor spends on the site, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.
Data processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings from abusive automated spying and from SPAM.

Google Tag Manager handles the loading of other components, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data.
Further information about Google Tag Manager can be found in Google's privacy policy.
Please note that US authorities, such as intelligence agencies, may be able to gain access to personal data under US laws such as the Cloud Act. Such data is necessarily exchanged with Google when this service is integrated due to the Internet Protocol (TCP).

(13) Matomo
We use Matomo (formerly Piwik) for web analytics, a service provided by InnoCraft Ltd., 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand, NZBN 6106769 ("Matomo"), using cookie technology. (14) Pipedrive Web Visitors
We use the Web Visitors function of the CRM system of Pipedrive OÜ (Mustamäe tee 3a, 10615 Tallinn, Estonia; "Pipedrive") to further optimise our website and our services. The Web Visitors function is committed to full compliance with the GDPR. The Web Visitors tracker collects data via Pipedrive's Amazon Web Services infrastructure. The data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Pipedrive records the behavioural data of all website visitors, including the pages visited, the source of the visitor and the time spent on the website. The visitor's IP address is recorded in order to determine the company and geographical location. In addition, Leadinfo sets two first-party cookies to evaluate user behaviour on our website and processes domains from form submissions (e.g. "leadinfo.com") in order to correlate IP addresses with companies and to improve services. Further information can be found at www.leadinfo.com. On this page: www.leadinfo.com/en/opt-out you have an opt-out option. In the event of an opt-out, your data will no longer be collected by Leadinfo.
(16) Microsoft Bing Ads
On our pages we use the conversion tracking of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. Microsoft Bing Ads stores a cookie on your computer if you reached our website via a Microsoft Bing ad. In this way, Microsoft Bing and we can recognise that someone has clicked on an ad, been redirected to our website, and reached a previously determined target page (conversion page). We only learn the total number of users who clicked on a Bing ad and were then redirected to the conversion page. No personal information about the identity of the user is disclosed.
If you do not want information about your behaviour to be used by Microsoft as described above, you can refuse the setting of a cookie required for this purpose — for example by changing your browser settings to generally disable the automatic setting of cookies. You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website, as well as the processing of this data by Microsoft, by declaring your objection at the following link: https://account.microsoft.com/privacy/ad-settings/signedout?lang=en-US.
